The Division of Biological Sciences proudly features scientific writing as a core component of the biology curriculum. Scientific knowledge is primarily communicated in writing, and courses in the major guide students in effective writing through low- and high-stakes exercises, including write to learn activities and composing scientific papers and literature reviews.
