The Bioscience Learning Center (Biology Building, Room 406) is your resource for information related to the Biology classes you are taking. Whether you are a biology major taking BIOL 1108 as part of your degree requirements or a non-major taking BIOL 1103 as a science elective, the BLC is here to help you.
The BLC has Macintosh and Windows computers for your use. Complete class assignments, print out class notes, access WebCT, OASIS, UGAMail, and type your lab reports in the BLC.
This year we expanded our reference library to include MCAT, GRE, GMAT, Internship and Scholarship information, to name just a few examples of the many new and helpful books & videos available for your use at the BLC.
In addition, there are study tables you may use to prepare for your classes, exams or to meet with biology TA's. Also, the BLC has 3 computer literate student assistants, who are here to help you and answer any of your questions regarding the BLC. |
